Denton-South Rotary Awards Banquet June - 2010 Our first community award was policeman of the year, which was awarded to Matt Harmuth of the DPD. Accepting the award on his behalf was Denton Chief of Police Roy W. Minter, Jr. Our Firefighter of the Year Award went to Derek Osward of the Denton FD.
